Women First has expanded our urogynecological care to bring a specialized service for women with conditions such as overactive bladder, urinary retention, and bladder leakage. We know bladder and pelvic disorders are quite common among women. Inconvenient and embarrassing, these health problems often lead to physical and psychological discomfort. Despite these adverse effects, many women never seek medical attention, and we are committed to being part of the solution. As part of this program, you will first have a bladder study performed at your local Women First practice. After your simple test is performed, you will review your results and discuss treatment options. Our shared goal is to help you regain an improvement in quality of life.
When you participate in our Continence Program, you'll experience a comprehensive, patient-centered approach to addressing your urinary health concerns. Our team of specialists will guide you through a three-step process designed to evaluate your condition, provide expert consultation, and deliver personalized care. From your initial assessment to ongoing treatment, we're committed to improving your quality of life and helping you regain confidence and control.
Our skilled physicians conduct a comprehensive assessment of your urinary health and discuss advanced diagnostic treatment options to further evaluate your incontinence symptoms.
Once aligned to proceed with the urodynamic study, the test is designed to evaluate bladder and urethral function. The study analyzes the bladder’s ability to store and empty urine and offers a reliable method to establish a definitive diagnosis and treatment strategy. The procedure is done in our offices and takes no longer than 30 minutes to 1 hour.
We'll review your test results, discuss your symptoms, and explore treatment options. Our team provides ongoing support and coordination of any outside referrals. We're committed to helping you overcome urinary challenges and improve your well-being.
Together Women’s Health is here for all of your female health needs. Please note that services may vary across practices and locations.
